Caravan sites will be distributed on arrival at the campsite.

Venue/Arena (Competition Centre)
The Military Training Establishment in Kvarn, directions from road 211, 12 km north of Borensberg, then circa 2 km to the arena. Here you will find driving directions/map on Google Maps. More detailed directions can be found under the tab Service on the website. The Arena mapcan be found in the program booklet and under the tab Competition on the website.
For parking follow the directions. The parking fee for a car is included in the registration fee. Distance between parking and arena is maximum 1300 meters.
Follow directions for embarking/disembarking the buses at the arena and lodgings. Thereafter buses shall park on assigned places. Bus parking must be pre ordered, use e-mail email@example.com.
10MILA competitors may also run EOD courses. Registration is only possible on the arena. Information about the EOD courses will be published April 20 and will be found on the website.
This is how you can follow the competition
Speaker is Ola Jodal. Finnish speaker Antti Örn will be heard on the arena but mainly via Radio 10MILA. Frequency information, see below.
The competition will be broadcast live on a jumbo screen on the arena. At the catering there will also be TV sets showing the same.
Split time terminals
There will be possibilities for runners and coaches to follow their team’s progress in the forest via split time terminals in the changeover area. To see the time and position when a team has passed, submit the team’s starting number or put one of the team’s SI cards in the SI unit.
Radio 10MILA will broadcast two programs on the FM band during the whole competition, one with the Swedish speaker, the other with the Finnish.

On the website there will be continuous information about what is happening during the competition. We also have the following online services:

- 10MILA apps for iPhone and Android.
- Web broadcasting will be accessible on the website. The transmission is free of charge and the same as Radio 10MILA.
Shortly before the competition apps can be downloaded into iPhone and Android smartphones. With the app you can follow your team in the same way as in the split time terminals. The app can be downloaded from Android Market or App Store (iTunes) and is free. Data transfer fees will be charged by your mobile phone operator.
The competition will be broadcasted live on web TV from about 11:00 on Saturday until about 11:00 on Sunday. The broadcast will be the same as shown on the jumbo screen on the arena.
The broadcast is imposed with a fee and costs SEK 100. Payment shall be done on the website http://webtv.10mila.se. Payment can be made via internet bank or charge/credit card. The broadcast can only be used on one computer at a time. However, it is not connected to a specific computer or IP address so there may be a change of computer during the transmission.
If the broadcast can only be seen less than 50 percent of the total broadcast time (about 24 hours), 10MILA2012 will repay the whole sum minus transaction charges. 10MILA disclaims all repayment if the error can be considered a force majeure.
10MILA2012 also has the ambition to after the competition make the whole web transmission available for downloading.
GPS tracking during the competition will only be shown on the jumbo screen and in web TV and cannot be followed by live tracking services. After termination of the competition it will be possible to follow the GPS tracks via a separate web service. See the website for information when the competition is finished.
Radiosporten will be there
Swedish Radio/Radiosporten will broadcast live from the 10MILA arena during parts of the 10MILA 24 hours. During the women’s competition there will be features during the ordinary sports programs in program P4. The men’s relay will be broadcasted continuously in the night program.
Possibly parts of the Radiosporten broadcasts can be heard on the arena.
Personal radio transmitters
Personal radio transmitters (communication radios) may not be used on or close to the arena since it may interfere with the competition management’s radio- and telephone traffic.
On the arena there will be hot food, sausages, coffee, sandwiches, beverages, candy and more for sale. The catering will be open Friday evening 17:00 – 22:00 and Saturday from 08:00 until the end of the competition.
Currency and card payments
On the arena the currency is Swedish Kronor. Card payments are possible in both the catering and the sports shop. An automated teller machine (ATM/Bankomat) is available in the centre of Borensberg.
Sports and outdoor equipment can be bought in the Intersport sport shop on the arena.
Sales and advertisements
Advertisements may not be posted or spread on the arena without permission from the competition management. This concerns all forms of sales. Salesmen without permission will be turned away from the arena.

Sanitary and safety
There will be toilets for audience and runners in two locations on the arena, also toilets for disabled persons. For outgoing runners there will be toilets in the changeover area.
Taps for drinking water will be available on the arena and in the camping area.
Electrical Power generators
It is not permitted to use private electrical power generators on the arena or in the camping area.
Within the camping and wind shelter areas there will be fire extinguishers positioned and marked with a sign. The nearest fire extinguisher will not be farther away than 50 meters. Participants and public shall upon arrival note where the closest fire extinguisher is placed.
In case of fire, alarm on 112 and contact the nearest official or the crisis group (see below).
Open fires are not permitted, neither on the arena nor in the camping area.
Barbecue sites will be available adjacent to the road just north of the wind shelter area.
First aid will be available on the arena from 11:00 May 5th until the end of the competition. First aid on the arena is primarily for the competitors. In case of emergency there is place also for spectators with minor injuries.
During the women’s relay there will be one first aid post in the competition area, marked on the competition map.
During the men’s relay there will be two first aid posts in the competition area, marked on the competition map.
Participants in the youth relay shall use the first aid post on the arena.
All security officials in the forest are equipped with first aid bandage and mobile phones.
If a serious accident or some other unexpected incident occurs, we will appreciate if this is immediately reported to the crisis group. The group is lead by Magnus Hallros, tel +46 (0)70 39 53 681.
Camping and caravan sites
The allotment of sites for rental tents, wind shelters, military tents and caravans will be published on the website. The camping will open Friday at 12:00.
Hard floor accommodation
Hard floor accommodation in schools etc will open at 18:00 Friday May 4th, see separate information that will be e-mailed to the club’s registration responsible who has booked lodging.
